St. Croix County is the fastest growing county in the state of Wisconsin.
With that growth, comes the need to care for the overpopulation of homeless animals in our community. St. Croix County does not have an animal shelter. As a result, many animals are being sent to shelters outside of our St. Croix County communities. In December 2005, a group of individuals met and formed a non-profit organization that plans to build and staff an animal shelter in St. Croix County.
