We need a permanent home!

St. Croix Animal Friends has been asked to find a permanent home(s) for two miniature dachshunds. As you can see, they are beautiful dogs.

Harley (black) is a little unsure, but he’s such a cuddler that he does warm up to people. He has house training issues.

Buddy (brown) is more outgoing yet can be hesitant at first. He’s also a real cuddler.

SCAF will provide any needed vaccination updates.

It would be ideal for them to go into a home with no other animals because of hesitant personality issues stemming from the stress they’ve been experiencing, but that can be worked on.

Crystal Fetting, a certified trainer and canine behavior specialist, will provide a free hour of in-home training with the family/ies who adopts Harley and Buddy. She will be available for continued support.

If you are interested in adopting Harley and/or Buddy, please respond as soon as possible to this notice by calling our Foster Coordinator, Crystal Fetting, at 715-403-1772. Please share this notice with anyone you know as well as your friends on FB.

Our hope is to quickly move Harley and Buddy into a nurturing environment. Thank you for your efforts to help these dogs!

Please check back periodically.
