Currently, SCAF's number one need is land and financial
support to get a shelter built. The longer we wait, the higher the
potential for more animals to lose their lives to starvation and
homelessness.
The time to act is now. Unwanted animals are being dumped at veterinarians, left tied to sign posts and let go in the country to fend for themselves. Right now, a land donation may be one of the most important legacies a landowner can give to animals in St. Croix County. This would be the first step in offering our animal friends an opportunity for a future.
